Radio is a very specific institution. Most people who had at some point contact with this form of the media will surly confirm its exceptional nature. The lack of the visual, which usually absorbs our perception to the largest extent, allows the radio to be a discrete companion on the one hand and leave room for imagination, a different form of concentration or even intimacy on the other hand. Such a character of the radio is a challenge for a sound engineer, who needs to draw the listener’s attention by creating attractive, interesting and clear material, while at the same time make sure it is not tiring or irritating.
