We are pleased to present you the new album released by RecArt (catalog number 004). "Vienna. Guitar Recital" by Michal Stanikowski is a CD featuring guitar music very popular in the salons of the Viennese bourgeoisie in the first half of the nineteenth century and later, but inspired by what was happening musically in the Romantic era in Vienna. Celebrated triumphs there, such as a guitar virtuoso Mauro Giuliani ("Gran Sonata Eroica") and Johann Kaspar Mertz (on the album's "Fantaisie Hongroise"). The twentieth century brought the unusual composition of guitar literature, referring to his neo-romantic style to the works of Franz Schubert - a four-part "Sonata Romantica", by Manuel Maria Ponce. And for dessert, as a foretaste of another, already planned, next CD by Michal Stanikowski - only composition on the guitar of Manuel de Falla "Homenaje". Media partners: Polish Radio Program Drugi, TVP Kultura, Radio Merkury and Twoja Muza magazine.
